This is the ultimate outdoor experience for the avid outdoorsman.  Since the initiation of this wilderness adventure by Cave Run Guide Service, it has become a favorite opportunity to connect with two of America’s most prized species, the wild turkey and the mighty muskellunge.

Imagine starting your morning excitement to the thundering gobble of a wild turkey piercing the early morning silence, your experienced guide makes a soft purr only to create an excited response from the active bird.  You raise the gun into position and wait for the right moment to fire.  A qualified guide has educated you on the fundamentals for a successful hunt.  He has located and called a nice trophy in close, your patience and stealth is the key to bagging one of the nations most sought after big game birds.

We use only local, experienced turkey hunters and guides.  After your morning hunt you will meet with the remainder of the group for a quick lunch, later you will meet your musky guide.  For the remainder of the day you will be directed on the modern techniques, equipment and tactics in the art of muskie fishing.

Imagine the scream of your reel as a monstrous Cave Run musky heads toward the deep timber.  Just seconds before you were about to lift the lure from the water, out of the darkness the silver streak appeared, with a spray of water and a turbulent froth you realize the giant has grabbed your lure at boatside, you can just hang on.  After the wild and fantastic fury settles, the guide slips a net under the next prize of the day and lifts it for a quick photograph.  You can only smile with pure joy and satisfaction, you have achieved the CAVE RUN GRAND SLAM!!!, what an incredible achievement for ones outdoor notebook.
